Dirgha Breath or Three Part Breath is Tridoshic, meaning it is complementary as well as beneficial for all practitioners at any given time. This Breathwork induces relaxation, Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses) and aids in releasing stress, anxiety and Chitta Vrittis (mind chatter). This particular Breathwork is a great option for warming up prior to practicing asanas and or alternative, more intense breathwork.
